- Every character created before Friday, June 13 2:30pm UTC+2 received fresh Init Points for both skills and stats. Please relog to see them. You should have 2 for skills and 2 for stats in total
- Every new character created in the CB 3 before Friday, June 13 2:30pm UTC+2 received a headgear!
- Every old character and every new character created before Friday, June 13 2:30pm UTC+2 received another headgear!
- Old characters already received one headgear on June 10, so every character created before Friday, June 13 2:30pm UTC+2 should have received two headgears in total
- To get the headgears, please click on "Inventory (I)" > "Cash item" (lower right corner). The heagears are either in the "Purchase list" or in the "Received a present box" tab! You don't have to pay anything to get them from there.
Dear bravers, adventurers, fighters and dreamers -
we proudly announce the beginning of the closed beta 3 of Florensia. The server Lux Plena is now open and we hope to see many of you ingame! The closed beta 3 will last around one week. Although a week later than expected, we hope you're still with us and ready to start testing. Please don't be too sad if you couldn't get a key - after the closed beta 3, further changes will be applied and afterwards, you will be able to enjoy the open beta of the game. For the open beta, you won't need a key any more and you can just log in anytime and enjoy the game. Further information about the open beta will follow after the end of the closed beta 3.
As previously announced in this thread, you have to download a new client for the CB 3. However, this client will be usable in the Open Beta of Florensia as well.
Where can I download the client?
The first download mirrors are up and running, so please go to Florensia.eu > Multimedia to download the client.
The other mirrors will follow as soon as we receive the URLs to their client downloads. We highly recommend you to not download the client anywhere else as you might happen to download the old version which will not work in the CB 3 any more!
IMPORTANT NOTICE: PLEASE UNINSTALL THE PREVIOUS CLIENT VERSION AND REMOVE ALL OLD FLORENSIA FOLDERS FROM YOUR PROGRAMS FOLDER MANUALLY BEFORE INSTALLING THE NEW CB 3 CLIENT!
If you are lucky, you will see a Florensia Game Master (GM) ingame now and then! Please note that currently, all GMs have female sprites - but there are of course male GMs as well!
What has changed? Part I - the languages
First of all, you will be able to play Florensia in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese. As there are still some language issues that need to be fixed, we opened a separate forum for reporting them. Please note that there definitely are flaws in all languages, even in the English version.

What has changed? Part II - the GIMMICKS!
Well, this should be what you were probably waiting for. As some of you already know, new characters automatically get the following items:
Two beginner weapons - including bullets for Explorers
Necklace: Lux Plena Pendant - it has a new name now (;
10x Heart of wind for training - Returning stones
20x Vigor arising powder - recovers 280 HP
Furthermore, each newly created character will receive the following items:
1x Liquid Medicine of increasing experiences on the sea XVI
1x Liquid Medicine of increasing experiences on land XVI
5x Mithrill Powder
Well, I guess most of you know what these items can do. And since we thought it's unfair to give those only to the new characters, we decided to give them to all 'old' characters as well!
Each character will receive 2 Initialization Points.
With these points, you can reset your status points and reallocate them. We added the Initialization Points, because the status attributes system of Florensia has changed!
STR - Strength: Highly influences the character's physical attack
DEX - Dexterity: Increases the rate of successful attacks and helps to avoid attacks
CON - Constitution: Increases the HP recovery rate and the max HP
LUK - Luck (cannot be raised manually): Influences the damage of critical attacks
INT - Intelligence: Increases the magical attack power and the physical attack power of physical skills
WIS - Wisdom: Increases the MP recovery rate and the max MP
VOL - Volume: Influences the rate of critical attacks when your character attacks
In addition to that, we will randomly give you one out of five possible headgears!
Do you remember the Florensia creative contest? We promised the lucky ten winners they would each get one headgear of choice for the CB 3 / OB.
But well... why shouldn't we give everyone else a headgear for the CB 3 as well? No sooner said than done!
I don't have a character yet. Can I still get a headgear?
On June 10, all characters that have already been created in a previous CB testing phase will automatically receive a headgear. On Friday around 2:30pm (UTC+2), we gave out one headgear to each of the new characters that have been created until then and another headgear to all characters that had been created during any of the beta phases!
Please note that as this is a gift from us for you, we will not discuss with you about the exact moment of Friday's giveaway.
- Every CB3 character that meets the requirements received two out of five headgears - the winners of the contest chose different ones.
- The headgears are all blue - and the ones the winners of the contest chose aren't blue.
- The headgears will disappear after the CB 3 - only the ten winners will be allowed to keep theirs.
- Yes, all headgears do have certain stats and values besides the gorgeous styles!
We hope that you will have fun with your headgears and that we could clarify the difference between the headgears for the contest winners and the headgears we randomly give out!
Where can I get my headgear?
Log in to Florensia with your favourite character, open your Inventory (I), click on the Cash item button and get your headgear.
What has changed? Part III - the content changes
Besides the languages and the gimmicks, quite some things have changed within the game as well. Take a look at the list and enjoy testing everything:
- The status attributes system has changed (see above)
- You won't be able to fight monsters of an explicitly higher level any more
- The map system has been improved with useful icons and a new font
- Furthermore, you can open the world map using the Z key
- The amount of EXP you receive while lvling after lvl 3 has increased. Depending on your level and the monster you fight, you will get up to 2.5 times more EXP
- An EXP bonus when lvling together in a party has been added
- The quest names are still English in all languages. This is intended as we want to support people from different countries playing and solving quests together
- You can now accept 20 quests at the same time
- The second server Pardioc is not open yet as we want to test how many users one server can handle
- The quest texts have been edited and line breaks have been added
- The monster names have been corrected
- Some of the item names have been corrected
- The visual tutorial has been translated to English, you can reach it via the Main Menu (ESC). However, page 10 is still missing - but we will add it soon
- Some hair colors have been added; you can choose among 16 different hair colors now
- Every class has received one new hairstyle; you can choose among 6 different hairstyles now for each class
